Good box low profile so if you have a shallow trunk it will fit. I put this one in my mustangs trunk and it fit like a glove.

Decent box and for $29 shipped so who’s going to argue. It says 1″ speaker baffles however the front face is only 3/4″ MDF. I’m not sure if the rest of the box is 5/8 or 3/4. None the less it is a well built box with glued joints all around. Should do the trick. Came in a carboard box with a couple edges of the box getting dinged…nothing a little sharpie and a stapler couldn’t fix. Again…I couldn’t have built one this well for $50 and a lot of sweat. This is easier.

Amazon shipped it in a single box with no packaging peanuts or anything to protect it. So the cardboard was slightly caved due to the wedge shape. I don’t know if this had anything to do with the corners wearing away already or not. Just about every cornter has the wood showing through. I would probably share in the 5 star ratings had the carpet been left intact. I really can’t complain, what do I expect for a $30 enclosure. It beats paying someone local to build an MDF box without carpet for $100. I might just purchase some corner protectors rather than try to send it back. I really want to get this thing installed this week and don’t want to deal with the hassle of a return.
Other than the carpeting, the construction looks good and they do seal the inside edges with caulk or glue. I may put some caulk around the speaker terminal just to be sure it’s sealed and perhaps run some silicone caulk along the edges for added insurance.

The Atrend Box is definitely an excellent buy. I recently had a two vented 12inch single box that weighed a ton and filled up my whole trunk. This box is the perfect size for a sedan or if you have a hatchback. So if you are looking to save money and space then this box would be a very good choice.
