Amplifier in Toyota Echo goes into protection and blows fuses?
I have the +12 volt hooked up to the positive on the battery. The REM is hooked up to the 10A START fuse(in the fuse box). The GRND is hooked up to metal in the trunk. The amp has 2 20A fuses and a 3A fuse. It works in a dodge charger, but not in the echo, any help?
amp turns on green (power) and then either blows a 20A fuse or goes straight to red (protection)
its a 580 watt dual amp, subs are not hooked up when i try to power the amp.
Any help? i can add more info if needed?
Amp could be blown or the wiring of the actual car is not up to scratch.
