its passive thats whyit uses the vibrations from a nother speaker to mov its got a deep sound but its got major limits not good for excersion and is not loud

hey i just bought these subs and i am about to do a video.. actually i agree they do not sound good when filmed but it is a different world of car audio man. they hit so low and so hard that these camera mics cannot pick them up. it is an incredible experince. i used to have 2 15″ l7’s and these rock them
i guess the sound is due to box size. i put mine at 1.0 cubic feet with some pillow stuffing the subs got no problem no matter how long the excursion is. remember this subs has 16mm Xmax.

May i know that Solo classic subs manufactured in other country? I bought mine at authorized dealer in my country but it is (solo classic) made in China.
You could have come across the subwoofers during a Kicker sale that we were having which has since ended… Im guessing you are looking at the 15″ since all the other Solo Classics are currently 189 or less. Remember that prices change over time.
Plus we are an authorized Kicker dealer, which means that you are going to get the best warranty possible on the subs.
W.T.F that sub souded like shit andi was gonna buy them on line for 199.99 then sonicelectronix bumped it up to 349.99 but u can make an offer bull shit ther playin f#%kin games now. i am a fan of the “CVX’s” “CVR”
im with ya, yet i have 2 15″ DJ subs in a giant vented U-port vented box. subs are 1500RMS each, getting a crown soon. but ALL they do is hit lows and high highs
i have that sub. im gonna post a vid soon. i have the 12 inch with a 600 watt amp. my box is sealed but a little bigger than what was recomended. the “knocking noise” is put out when that sub cant hit a high note. i cant bump to that song cause the bass is too high. i can play it way harder with a deep frequency and it sounds amazing
sound like a speaker wire on the back side of the cone 2 me or its in 2 big of a box if there like the old solos there real picky on the size of encloser gonna put 2 of these only 10s in the back of my truck under the rear seat with a zx400

yea that knocking noise didnt sound to good might want to check the voice coils or see if the screws are in tight enough
