Hi please can anyone help me on whether to port my subwoofer box?
Hi please can anyone help me? I'm wondering whether to port my car subwoofer box or leave it sealed? It has a cubic capacity of 0.97feet and i'm using a single 12inch rockford foz P2 sub, is this too small to work well ported? or should i just leave it how it is sealed and is it best this way? any help greatly appreciated!!!! and i listen mainly to RNB, hiphop and a bit of rap. Some dance too!
Leave it sealed. Its just the right size for a sealed box for that sub. The minimum ported enclosure size for a p2 12 is 1.5 cu/ft.
Cordless tv surround nouns? UK please.? I want a surround sound system for my tv but, due to solid flooring, I dont want to run wires to the reverse speakers. Could the Sony KDL-32D3000 TV output 5.1 Surround nouns via its digital optical audio output? Thanks? I would be plugging a PS3 and PC both via seperate HDMI connectors into the TV, then I looked-for to output it all into a 5.1 system from the TV via the TV's digital optical audio output. I would be using a 5.1 system which take a digital optical audio input, such as the Logitech Z-5500. I have hear that on other TV's it only outputs at 2.0 via its digital optical audio output, not 5.1 surround, can anyone confirm or deny 5.1 near this TV set? Thanks in finance!
CRT tuning? I have a 30-inch Philips CRT HDTV. I've gone half-crazy fiddling next to the brightness, color, contrast and sharpness settings, trying to make it "just what the doctor ordered." Without a second pair of eyes, it is intricate to know how close I am. The home theater calibration discs I have aren't that beneficial for the same apology. My current settings are: Brightness: 48 (out of 100) Color: 60 (out of 100) Contrast: 55 (out of 100) Sharpness: 2 (out of 7) Am I close?

Denon avr 888 vs yamaha rxv 663? Iam lookin for an audiophilist help, ok okay this is the story. I bought the Denon Avr 888 From Dakmart and was deeply excited for it to arrive but when it arrived it wouldn't power it up, so i contacted dakmart and they said they would contact denon because it was still beneath warrenty and denons refurbisher united radio would fix it. i be cool with that so i have to wait for and ups shipping lable email bought it took a week for me to acquire it so i got a touch upset and told the guy at dakmart i would like a repayment, he said fine he needed to contact united radio to hold them ship the unit to dakmart and they would reimbursement me, so in the aim time i went out and found the yamaha rxv 663. so to bring in a long story short i got the yamaha dakmart didn't contact fused radio in time and the denon is person sent back to me. so my press is which is a better built reciever, i like the adjectives proofing of the yamaha with decodin of dts hd and dobly hd but i am running a ps3 so i am not really using it. i resembling the idea of the presence speakers event though i havn't tried it on the other hand. now for the denon sense it be broke when i first recieved it i havnt had time to audition it but i close to the idea audyessey and i am assunming the video up conversion is better on the denon because it have the dcdi chip compared to what ever chip yamaha uses. so which is a better build, which gives better nouns, basicly which one should i keep and which one should i bring back, they cost me alike amount of money 450.00

Difference between Hdmi Home the boards and Regular home the stage? Ok looking for a home theatre for my hdtv, hdmi compatability. But if I buy a home drama with hdmi and connect it to the tv through component, will nearby be much of a difference if it where the hdmi revision? Digital Coaxial Cable: newly a component video queue? At Best Buy I was only just looking at their cabling when I notice something. On the back of one of their subwoofers, instead of using a "Digital Coaxial" cable they be using the green plug on a component video cord to hook their BD player to their AV Receiver. A guy there told me they be the same item actually. I other thought it was funny that they used like peas in a pod connectors. I knew component be different from composite video (one video transfer lane compared to three, the sense for three plugs), but is a digital coax cable really the same as a component video cable?

Diy projector projection problem?
