Is a Kicker zx750.1 enough power 2 12" Rockford Fosgate Power T112D4's running at 2 ohms? I am still confused on this whole ohm RMS thing.
The Kicker zx750.1
RMS Power (4 ohms) 375 watts x 1 channel
RMS Power (2 ohms) 750 watts x 1 channel
Rockford Fosgate Power T112D4 - Dual 4 ohms 12"
Power Handling:
* Peak: 600 watts
* RMS: 1200 watts

You cannot run TWO 4 ohm dual voice coil (DVC) subs at 2 ohm. When combining them, your only options are 4 or 1 ohm.
The combined RMS between the 2 subs would be 1200w.
Using that amp, it would only give them 375 watts.
You need to find an amp that gives the watts you are looking for @ 4 ohm. Wiring them to 1 ohm and using an amp that gives the most watts at 1 ohm would work too, but most 1 ohm stable amps get real hot when running that low.
The safest way to match the subs to the amp is by the combined RMS of the sub/subs to the Peak of the amp. If you feel the subs can handle more, find an amp w/ a peak power somewhere between the RMS and Peak of the subs.
